We were tasked by Symington Family Estates to redesign “The Vintage Port Site” – a knowledge base with records of over 400 different wines spanning 130 years of history and heritage..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beside uncountable tasting notes and Vintage Port wine descriptions, the original knowledge base also included detailed weather information and insights into the harvest process going back as far as 1890.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We set out to streamline and visually present the information within a long timeline while allowing the user to interact and dig deeper into each individual Port wine. At the same time the complementary weather and harvest information should be accessible allowing the user to switch between those timelines at any time. Thus, the “Vintage Timeline” and the “Winemaker’s Diary” was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
